Though it seems like a destruction of the accumulation of time and effort, this performance opens up various aspects and
perspectives which are not normally considered important to the audience. Artists usually present the results of the
visualization and materialization of their concerns in a specific place and timeframe called an exhibition.
However, although the result obtained through the visualization and materialization of the artist’s thought is unaltered,
the thought of the artist is prone to changes. The reason for the continuation of exhibitions is a reflection of the desire
to realize this process of change. The life of an artist is sustained by this inclination, and as a result new works are created.
The slight changes in the work the occur through each exhibition is like a motion picture. Although a single painting may be static
and motionless, it is at the same time a “snapshot” of a certain continuum.
Through this exhibition the preceding ‘Eating Flower’ becomes a ‘snapshot’ that has brought about ‘the following painting.’ The
flowers that fill the plate depicts, in an illusionary image, the accumulation of time and effort. Although it symbolizes the
voracity to fulfill one’s desire, it is also something that will soon wither away. Soon afterwards the dish is filled again
with newly plucked flowers.
Though the alleviation of realizing the desire, a new craving is brought about. The process of realization and
alleviation, craving and realization makes one think of a motion picture playing back endlessly. The performance
presented at the exhibition more clearly describes this endless chain. The effacing of the works hung on the walls
of the showroom stands for many things. As a consequence of the loss of value, the painting brings about an action
of cause and effect, and it suggests a refusal of the antecedent processes and methods. At the same time it can also
be perceived as a method of creating a foundation for a new beginning. From another perspective, it may be viewed
not as a destruction of a work but rather an extension of an unfinished drawing, that is dynamic, not fixed and “ongoing.”
The cover of black ink over the illusion can be viewed not only as an act of expunging but also an inking over. Though this
performance one can view the process of creation.
In other words, destroying and creating has an intertwining inseparable relationship, and works as a driving force behind
the movement of the drawings. As the paintbrush passes by, it seems as though the world of illusion built with much effort
falls apart in a flash into a thin trace of paint. But, from this scene it can be noted that this method is a means of
expressing the fact that the chain of desire is no different from the method itself.
Paintings inevitably contain another inseparable relationship, becoming a means to achieve the purpose of making the “next
scene.” As an artist this performance makes me search and deeply immerse the relationships between the many meanings set
upon the plate.

Deleting the work hanging on the wall of the exhibition hall after completion has various meanings.
Like a painting that no longer has any value, it seems to deny the process and results so far, while also
laying the foundation for a fresh start. Or, rather than erasing a piece of work, it is an extension of an
unfinished painting. Painting implies an inseparable relationship that can be used as a means for the purpose
of creating the “next scene”.
The world's famous art museums and museums can appreciate real paintings, but in fact, many come to see replicas that the audience doesn't know. Of course, the real work is stored in the art storage, is being restored, or is being done, so you see the fake as genuine. It's a matter of faith after all. The circumstances that make you believe are what make it possible. In this exhibition, I took a picture of my work and printed it on canvas, and display the cloned work as if it were a real work in the exhibition hall. Visitors accept and appreciate the replica as an actual oil painting. Just like the real world, the cloned work reminds us of the reality of deceiving and deceiving people. People living in the real world are fooled by cloned fakes that are hard to tell what is real and what is fake. The belief that what they see is the absolute truth makes them really accept it. On the other hand, when I saw a passing audience without any doubt that it would be a fake, I saw that I ended up not realizing it because they had no desire to know the truth, or the truth.
All the actual works that are to be displayed are packed and kept in the art storage. What needs to be seen is hidden.
It is in line with the society that made the real invisible, and is interpreted as a place like "cage," where a burial
chamber is locked away rather than a painting. The place where the work needs to shine is not the art storage, but an
exhibition hall, but because the fake pretends to be real, it's stuck in the art storage because it has no place to stand.
People don't have to see the real thing, but they just need to believe (or mistake) that they saw the real thing, and they
don't feel the need to see it. It doesn't need to arm with truth, it can be seen that sugar coat it is enough.
The corner of empty space in the exhibition hall became blocked with walls and doors to put it like the art storage, and the
real works were packed and leaned against the wall. The door to the storage shed was wide open, and some of the works
(the same image as the one on the wall, the original) were left in the art storage are took off the cover packed, but
most of the audience would pass it by thinking that it was just a real art storage in the hall. They were busy looking
around the fake artwork, and they often looked around the exhibition hall even if he handed over the guidebook himself.
The real work, which was the art storage, even showed the spotlight, but it was not recognized as a work at all, nor If
you had paid more attention to the piece and watched it with a good grace, it would have been a device that you would have
noticed before long ago. In the end, people could see that they judged what they seen with too easily, that they did not
doubt their judgment, and that they did not have enough time to appreciate the work, even though they stepped to the faraway
exhibition hall. To see the truth, you just have to pay a little more attention and appreciate it.
