Just as writing creates a sentence that conveys its meaning through a language combination and a sentence consisting of a sentence creates a story, the picture also speaks its inner self in a visualized language, forming and combining image maps. It is about the basic desires and desires inherent in humans (the desire to take what they want) and the emotions and psychological states that change due to conflicts, dramatic tension, and situations in which external or internal pressures that subdue them are confronted. Everyone may have a degree of difference, but they have a desire to have something, and they affect the perception of a third party depending on whether they express it or not. The purpose of this work was to express it indirectly, so that viewer could look into his or her own psychology, from recognizing only symbolic objects themselves to indirectly. The reason I chose flowers among many images was because I thought they were most appropriate as a symbol of something that would be taken and lost at the same time. The pursuit of self-interest is nothing more than selfish greed for the batter. The euphoria that occurs as soon as it is acquired is moved on a plate where regret and loss of what is becoming lost coexist. The image in this painting is that ‘Stuffed the moment (keeping the moment)’. Place flowers on a plate, and place the utensils together, perceived to be like a human physiological desire to take them, and they are sometimes expressed as a flower-threatening object, or as a means and method to take them. The intention of a graceful, serene, and desolate atmosphere is to wrap it up so that it does not fully reveal its desires with human dignity and pretentious politeness, and to express it as a ‘glorified image’ that does not directly reveal how to take it.

A flower opened up all over the body. The exhilarating pistil and surgery show off the peak. Another flower is
lying quietly. Are you waiting for your body to open, or are you going to collapse and die?
Yoon Young-hye is an artist who paints still life. She paints a stillness in her mind, a new one that is beyond
the cliché. So all the circumstances on the screen are intentionally set by the painter. She draws flowers that are
usually rotated on a transparent dish (sometimes on a white plate) on the table. However, the screen surrounding
the still is not as pretty as it is. The main character (still life) is painted as delicately as it really is, but
the description of the background is boldly omitted, driving the screen to a thrilling tension. It reminds me of
an object that was spotlighted on the stage of a play, a dimly directed scene around it. Sometimes, she draws
flowers, plates, forks, or spoons at 2 meters to make them feel creepy. They also choose a unique structure that
depicts objects directly or looks down from above. There is always a quiet silence on the screen as if time had
stopped.
The title of the work is ‘Eating Flowers.’ She put flowers in the tableware as if they were food. Yoon Young-hye
eats flowers. Flowers were presented as a symbol of desire, such as appetite. It is a flower that swallows desire.
Isn’t our world a sea of desire filled with what we want to do mentally and physically (eat, own, excrement,
and consume)? Yoon Young-hye symbolizes the basic conditions of life: desire, desire to conceal that desire,
outer and inner, or both as flowers. In short, flowers are an alergory to human desires. After all, flowers
are the actors who represent the artist’s mind. The flowers on the screen are in full bloom, but the body withers
and leaves fly away. All the flowers that exist end up disappearing like our lives. Yoon's flowers run to the world
beyond beauty.

“A radical problem in art these days: it is an illusion" is declared by Young Hye Yoon is the artist who is obsessed
with fiction. Primarily, Young Hye Yoon paints flowers, and she sees human's desire through the flowers. Flower,
it is frightening when it is painted. A pistil of the flowers is solely a genital obsessing he lust, and the rose
laid on the dish reflects a coquettish lady in a bathtub. The name of the artist' s work series is also 'Eating
Flower'. "Reality is blocked and closed, and a chance to materialize is not attained by my aim. Illusion is
illusion as it is. However, the illusion has a passageway and upward potentialities, and it can be a space realizing
dreams that cannot come true in reality. Flower patterns printed on the dish and real flowers exist concurrently
and throw audiences into confusion. What is the real flower? What is the printed flower on dish? Young Hye Yoon
exposes sophisticatedly like flower from the ambiguousness between the actuality and falseness of course and the
ambition that imitation trying to be the original. In this work, it seems to be the typo of 'vogue' is actually a
part of the dish. However, his typo would not be interpreted as a part of the dish. To be an art from a piece of
work, Young Hye Yoon seems to realize an attitude as an artist and a philosopher. Young Hye Yoon, the artist of 26
years old, has a tactful promptitude and putting her age in shade.

‘Eating Flower'
