I live in this times but think of megalithic culture in primitive times obsessively.
Living contemporarily, I pick up a toothpaste, a kind of product for daily life for taking it granted that I would make it picture.

But the toothpaste is empty. I structured it 6.519m high, 26.793m wide. I, human spider (alias dictus Spider Zhang) built across the toothpaste at regular intervals of 2.0313mm completely.

The woven toothpaste consists of 59 kinds of line type from ISO dash to zigzag, 5-direction-color (blue, yellow, black, white, red), 24 kinds of line weight from 0.00mm to 2.11mm. The toothpaste is divided into 5 parts that comprise 6,400 lines and it is applied 3 times by line type, line weight, 5 direction-color counting 96,000 times hand touches id est 5 parts X 6,400 lines X 3 X 2=192,000 times Its hand touching numbers are over 200,000 times when it comes to modification. It took 5 months and 23 days for completing the toothpaste from September 19th, 2011 to March 13th, 2012. Although I am worn out of all my strength, I hope to be compensated with great joy of completion.

치약튜브 시리즈의 작품단상

현대에 살지만 생각은 자꾸 원시 거석문화 megalithic culture로 치닫습니다.
현재에 살면서 필요한 물품들 중 하나인 치약을 하지만 속은 치약이 하나도 없이 비어 있습니다. 이것을 세로 6.519m 가로 26.793m 로 거대하게 만들고 인간 거미인 내(일명: 장거미, Spider Zhang)가 간격을 2.15mm로 해서 거미줄로 뒤덮습니다.

화면의 근간이 되는 구성요소는 선의 형태 59종 ISO dash부터 zigzag까지 이며 오방색, 선의 두께 24종 0.00mm부터 2.11mm 까지 입니다.

치약을 모두 5부분으로 나누고 1부분이 6400개의 선으로 구성되며 이것을 오방색, 선의 형태, 선의두께 세번 적용해서 5 x 6400 x 3 x 2= 192,000번의 손길이 닿았습니다.
수정한 것까지 계산하면 20만 번이 넘습니다. 2011년 9 월19일 부터 2012년 3월13일 까지 5개월 23일 걸렸습니다.
진이 다 빠져서 헉헉 거리지만 그래도 완성의 기쁨으로 이것을 보상 받고자 합니다.
