Biography


Hye-Yeon Choi was born in 1985 in Seoul, Korea and began playing the piano at the age of 5. After having started violin lessons as well, she joined to play in various youth orchestras as violinist since 7. As Hye-Yeon Choi completed the studies in Korea, she went on with her studies of "instumental and electroacoustic composition“ at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover with Oliver Schneller, Gordon Williamson and Joachim Heintz from 2009 until 2014.
